Great weather on Saturday was a more than welcome sight for those who turned out for this years spring summer and again it was a new member to NWGC who took home the spoils as Darryl McDermot carded a fantastic 66 Net to win the overall prize with Padraig MacLochlainn taking home the gross.
Sunday seen a colder day on the course but this did not stop Michael Kelly winning by a clear shot on 38 points from Eugene O'Connell. Mathew Stainsby continues his fine run of form with the gross prize.
This week sees the continuation of the Tuesday open with the Swilly Open also being help on Saturday and the Masters competition being held on Sunday. Sunday also sees the Ulster fourball team travel to Castlerock in the second leg of their first round tie. The lads take a 3:2 lead to Castlerock for what will surely be a hardfought away leg.
