Volunteers wanted for Junior Academy

Working closely with our club professional Brian McElhinney we hope to offer a series of structured lessons for Junior golfer's this Spring/Summer. The aim is to instil a love of golf, have some fun and possibly even learn a few life skills along the way.

It was felt that if we had a team of volunteers to help out on a rotating basis (maybe once every 2/3weeks for a few hours in the evening) it would lighten the load and provide an opportunity for members to give something back to the club. Who knows, but you may even enjoy it! If interested in helping out it would be greatly appreciated. You can register your interest by emailing either: Gerry Harkin, Men's secretary - secretary@northwestgolfclub.com or Margaret O'Hea, Ladies secretary- nwgcladiesbranch@hotmail.com Now the legal requirement (please don't let this discourage you) for all volunteers working with children: 1) You will need to attend an online Safeguarding course 2) Be vetted by Garda. 3) Sign up to a code of conduct and supply names of 2 referees **Club will cover all costs**
