Another week severely hampered by the rain with only the Saturday and Sunday confined comps going ahead. Saturday saw some mixed weather with the early starters having the best of the day. 53 members took part but as always there could only be one victor. Karol Friel, with 1 birdie and 5 pars beat Raymond Gallagher by 1 point who beat Keith Shiels by 1 point. Stewart McGinlay Takes the Gross this week.

Conditions on Sunday saw a smaller field but 35 souls still braved the course. Colin Barlow took home the spoils with 1 birdie and 6 pars in tough scoring conditions. Coming in second was Sean McGrellis, 1 point behind Colin and 1 point ahead of Eugene O'Connell. No Gross prize in this weeks Sunday competition.

The coming week sees the beginning of the season proper starting with the Shamrock Open on St Patrick's day quickly followed up with the St Patrick's Open on Saturday 21/03/2020. While these events are currently scheduled to go ahead the club are taking advice on the current coronavirus pandemic and should anything change this will be relayed on the clubs social media. In the mean time we would like to thank all members and visitors for following the advice given which should help in keeping the club a low risk environment. Here's hoping for some good news on the horizon.
