Juniors Visit the Open
Junior golfers from North West travelled to Portrush to witness the golfing greats preparing for the 148th Open. Weather was great; humour was great and not a prawn cocktail crisp in sight!
The boys and girls were great ambassadors for North West. Their behaviour, manners and good humour set the scene for a fantastic day. They met their heroes, collected autographs and participated in Tri Golf challenges organised by the Confederation of Golf Ireland. (The girls won.... but Kevin came away with more prizes!!!)

Many thanks to the CGI, especially Rory Leonard, for their generosity and their hospitality on the day. Thanks too to the parents.... you should be proud of these kids! Maybe in 10 years time some of them will be gracing the links in the Open!
